2013 Spring Nail Polishes

Pale nails are a huge trend this spring, but I'm dying for some color after this never ending winter. Hot pinks, light pinks, nude pinks - anything pink really, red, blue, green and yellow (Ciaté's Big Yellow Taxi is the perfect bright yellow shade!), topped of with some glitter and - and BAM, you've got gorgeous nails.

I have been staying away from painting my nails for about a month now, to give them a break and this week I started painting them with OPI's Nail Envy nail strengthener. I really want to try to get my nails healthy again - wearing nail polish every day for years is showing its effects. My nails have become very brittle and dry, so I'm hoping OPI might save them. I will write a post on how it goes, but today I want to share with you what I will be painting my nails with when I start to use nail polish again.

These are the polished I predict I will be wearing this spring. From left to right: Mavala 72 Nice, IsaDora Wonder Nail 115 Water Rose, Pieces Pink, Gina Tricot 115 Harmony.

The Mavala one is the perfect orange toned red color, it's one of my all time favorites and I can't wait to wear it again. The Pieces nail polish doesn't show up true to color in the picture, it is actually a perfect pink color. Water Rose from IsaDora is a sheer metallic light pink, absolutely gorgeous. I included a nude polish for some variation, it is a nude with very subtle multi-colored shimmer in it.

From left to right: Gina Tricot 110 Pool, OPI On Her Majesty's Secret Service (it is limited edition from the Skyfall collection) and Gina Tricot 119 Blue Ice.

Mint is one of my favorite colors, it's a strong trend from last summer and it's still going strong. Pastels and white are everywhere this season. When I tried out Blue Ice I wore it for a week (no chipping! I know, it is amazing) and everytime I saw my nails, I got super happy.

You might be wondering why I'm including a winter collection nail polish on my Spring Nail Polish list of 2013 - well, I just can't get enough of OHMSS. Like seriously, I'm addicted to this color. I've never seen anything similar to it before, it's so unique. Well done, OPI!

Now, tell me. Which colors are your must-haves for this spring? Do you prefer the classics like red and pink, or do you go for more bold colors like neon green and yellow?
